Seriously though, speaker upgrade will help with clarity, only thing you can do to get marshally overdrive is either use pedals, or the craigslist mod. Members colejustesen Posted August 3, 2009 Members Share Posted August 3, 2009 I put a Warehouse ET65 in my Hot Rod, it sounds great with the stock speaker. It added some more mid range to the amp. Members Kidbs Posted August 3, 2009 Members Share Posted August 3, 2009 Replace the speaker with a V30, give up on using the {censored}ty drive channel and get a Tonebone Hot British, Crunchbox, or Dirty Little Secret pedal to use for your drive.
