Members Druxar
I have a 2x12 with just a metal grille so the speakers get exposed to lots of dust. What's the proper way to clean them without damage? I'm afraid to bring a vacuum too close to them because I fear I'd have to scrape it along the cone and still probably not get it clean and I don't want to poke holes in it... Members strtdv
A paint brush with soft bristles is generally the recommended route.
Members CenturyStanding
A can of condensed air works wonders for cleaning dust on sensitive stuff. I use it to clean the inside of all my guitar and computer related stuff.
Members ~Abstract~
you should be able to brush it off the cone with a dry rag. The doping (if your speaker has any) is where you'll need creativity. I pull hair/lint off doping with my fingers. I can't get it all, cuz it's STUCK. subscribed!
