Members MattACaster
Been using my 2x12s so far but they are pointing at my ankles and I have trouble hearing myself. Which cab should I bring to practice tonight? The band plays kind of alternative radio rock type stuff. I'm still not sure what head I'll bring... Maybe the DSL... Members MattACaster
Rivera and marshall Hahah! That would be pretty sweet sounding. I'd have to use two amps though. Rivera is 8ohms and the Marhsall is 4 or 16.

Members GUITKRAZY
I have always preferred Marshalls but I love The Mesa cabs! I would use the Mesa. I was in the studio the other night and I had my Budda Superdrive 30- I was playing through a Marshall 4x12 with 25w Greenbacks and an engineer pulled out a Marshall 4x10- WOW! That cab rocked!- it was tight and right! it made my 4x12 sound flabby.

Wow, you got a total hard-on for that Rivera cab! I'm think that LP and maybe a Tele.

I do, it was a piece of the best rig ever so it'll always have a place it my heart. Maybe one of your strats? Not the EMG one though, I don't think EMGs would fit this band.' EDIT: I think a 60, 85, 89, or the S/SAs would work actually, just not 81s.

Both my EMG-ed guitars have 81s in both spots. Maybe the Big Apple Strat since it has the 5 way switching.

Pearly Gates+ in the bridge and a Pearl Gates in the neck. Truth be told, I don't like either of them but for some reason I never replaced them. Maybe I need a set of Rios for it?
