Look forward to hearing the completed song. Damn all you people and your encouragement. Thanks. The solo was actually my RG2127X with the neck humbucker split. The clean behind it, and the little octave-y lead part before it briefly goes heavy and then into the solo are all the Strat though. If I had a tone control on the bridge pickup of the Strat I'd probably have done the solo with it too, but I've never bothered to rewire it.
