Members petejt Posted November 30, 2009 Members Share Posted November 30, 2009 I've got my ElectroHarmonix set to put out both the Dry output and Sub Bass (1 octave down), and a slight smidge of 1-octave-up-detuned and 1-octave-up, with the Low Pass filter at about 50%. I can't remember which mode, Mode 2 I think. I usually use this thing for organ swelling sounds. It's a full-on Hammond I tell ya Anyways, I'm listening back to a short clip I recorded on my mobile phone. I ran the POG into my MarkIV on the lead channel and chug-bellowed away. Sounds MASSIVE, such a breadth and spread when you slam the strings. Your playing technique is what gets that big doom sound, but the amp and a cool octave effect sure does make it cooler.
