I purchased some mercury magnetics transformers that were pulled from a decatone. Unfortunately the guy didn't write down the colour codes when he pulled them. I called Mercury Magnetics to get the colour codes but they couldn't give them out because they were made for Soldano.

Anyways, they give me soldanos number and those guys sat on the phone with me for about 10 mins looking through their schematics to find the right wiring diagram. Super helpful and we got it worked out. He gave me some tips on my build and told me to call him back if I needed some help. I won't take him up on it but it was the offer that struck me as pure awesomeness. Cheers, Lucius

Cool {censored}!

On a side note, how is the Decatone? That amp gets NO talk here on HCAF....

I had one. Used it in a cover band. It covers a lot of ground. The crunch channel was one of the best classic rock tones I have heard. Typical clean channel (really good). I was not a big fan of the lead channel. It was good but not great. Great effects loop too. A little overpriced in my opinion. Still Soldano quality though.
