Salmon fishing, FTW!!!

Went out at the butt crack of dawn on Saturday and had an great time. The girlfriends parents came out with as and so did my friends Dustin (the drummer in my band) and his wife Michelle.

 

Limited out with 32! :thu::thu:

I went to alaska this summer to fish for salmon, kings were about 50-60 pounds and the reds/silvers were about 20.

 

Things are monsters, especially since they're wild. If you like fishing, you NEED to make it up to Alaska at least once at the miracle mile.

 

Too bad I don't get to go this year, I'll be in Europe. :cry::love:

Used to go salmon fishing a lot as a kid. It's fun, but I don't like the hassle of dealing with downriggers. Walleye fishing is where it's at.

 

 

Walleye is my absolute favorite - I plan on dragging MattACaster to Mille Lacs Lake this summer for some of the best Walleye fishing to be had...
