Members StringKing7
Can the front metal honeycomb grill be removed leaving the black panel still mounted securely? I've been thinking about removing that, and covering the panel with a wheat grill-cloth and adding some piping so it matches my Bogner OS 2x12 better. Is this doable? Awesome idea? No? Members ThrashensteiN
I had Plexi glass on the front of my 6505+ and it fit fine.
Members Shask
Probably. It is just stapled on. The board behind it is held in place by screws going in from the sides.

Members NinjaRaf
Yes it can...but you have to remove the whole thing from the inside of the chassis first...

Members OverDriven
You can do that, but it's going to look really weird with the black/wheat color theme and the silver control panel. I thought about doing this at one point and decided it would be best to have a new face plate made in black with while lettering. Never got around to it of course... I don't see the color of the control panel affecting the overall look that much.

Yeah...it's going to look weird IMO. Then again, I'm obsessed with colors working well together. It might not bother you.
