anyone use or clocked any time on a cab with these Celestion G12T -100 "Hot 100"speakers?

care to share your thoughts/experience?

im wondering if they are anything like the G12K-100 speakers (i had these in a marshall mode four cab ages ago) or if they are a 100W version of the G12T-75s (which ive had in a marshal quad and 2x12)

im thinking about blindly purchasing a framus 1x12, which comes loaded with these speakers, to add to my tonal pallette.

(I currently have a Framus 2x12 loaded with one V30 and one Greenback)

I could be wrong, but I'm almost positive the G12T100 is a different speaker than the G12T 'Hot 100'.

The "Hot" version is from the budget line. It has a different magnet and frame.

The "G12T100" is a 100 version of the T75.

At least the link from Avatar speakers page of the G12T100 directs you to the Celestion Hot100 page. :idk:

hmmm...

i was hoping to get the framus 1x12 would suit my framus poo brown colour theme :)

and having a diffrent speaker ot add to my V30/Greenback seemed ideal

its basically down to three 1x12 cabs

the framus

Vox Night Train cab - Greenbacks (my speaker of choice)

Orange V30

i also liked the idea of having hte 100W speaker as i would be able to run more diffrnet amps with it, compared to say the vox cab with a greenback rated at 25W.

might go try the night train cab out today before i make up my mind.
