Members dgc480
I'm trying to decide btw these two. What would you say is the tonal difference between the 1 12 vs. the 410 speakers? Also, would you say that the 410 has more clean headroom (b/c it's 60 watts as opposed to 40)? Does this mean that the 410 must be a lot louder on the distortion than the 1 12 channel to sound good? There's a used 410 blues deville for 499 in one store, and a used 112 deluxe for 499 in another store. I know the deville is a better deal, but Idk if I want it over the deluxe or not. Thanks! Members roland
Neither. Both amps are meh. I'd try to find a nice used reissue, especially a DRRI.
Members hecticone
Before I would spend that type of money I would look for a used classic 50 212.

You're welcome!Choose the Deville if you want to limit the choice for these two. The Alnico 10s are better than the one in the Deluxe. The best HR Deluxe tone I heard/played with:Weber Alnico speaker/attenuator I think the attenuator is the key element to achieve a good sound with this serie.
