MAJOR HELp...ASAP

Hey Guys fairly new to the forum, got a few parties coming up and jus acquired a new piece to the system.

 

Just purchased the Yamaha MG124X 12 Channel Mixer

 

I Currently use:

(2) NUmark TT500 w/SHURE M44-7 CARTS

(1) RANE SERATO MIXER

(1) Behringer 3way Cross Over

(1) Behringer EQ

(1) Peavey bass Controller

(2) JBL SRX

(4) JBL EON G2 15"

(2) JBL JRX Double 15'z

(2) Cerwin Vega Juniors

(1) QSC 4050

(2) QSC 2450

Before I got this 12 channel mixer i used to have a Denon X900 4 Channel I used to run Bass on the Monitor channel while my highs and mids came through my main outputs. Since the Denon is gone now i got the Yamaha mainly for the Mic channels, More input channels and better equalization on the whole system.

 

Question is Will i need to now run the Main Output From the Yamaha into a Crossover or what do i do now? I Loved how the set sounded when i ran everything separetely and had total control using my bass controller when i needed that extra thump, do i still need a crossover? Ill appreciate any new recommendations, ideas, setups. Thanks

Even if you run it through your crossover, you have the ability to get extra thump when you want it. Your crossover has knobs for both hi and lo output. Turn the low one up a notch.
