Members the_gunslinger Posted March 11, 2011 Members Share Posted March 11, 2011 So I just got back from seeing Battle LA, and thankfully it didn't suck(at least I don't think it did). It's kinda like Independence Day meets Black Hawk Down is the way I'd put it, much much more like Black Hawk Down IMO, with aliens, and no force fields or lasers(at least I'm pretty sure no lasers) or any nonsense like that, basically machine gun against machine gun, missle against missle. Overall the plot was simple, the movie was fast paced, and outstanding special fx. They really didn't delve into why the aliens are invading or or they're technology too much, they basically learn enough to kill them as go along throughout the movie. Overall, it's not going to win any Academy awards or anything like that, but it's a fun, enjoyable movie that serves it purpose and doesn't feel like a waste of money. x1,000,000 times better than Skyline IMO. tl:dr, csb Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The plot is kinda thin but I don't care for these types of movies.
