Members Knottyhed
I need a 2x12 cab... as luck would have it, I've got a knackered old Carlsboro Renegade SS combo amp. The amp is worth bugger all I reckon, but it does contain a couple of a Celestion G12H speakers... So rather than go out and spend
Members wrathfuldeity
Only two reasons not to...you already have too much beer money and would rather spend more time at the pub. I'm in the process of building a non-traditional 1x12 closed back detuned out of recycled straight grain fir...going for tone enhancement...and would otherwise be unable to afford one of similar quality... about $50 + speaker into the project. I'll be posting pics under cabinet building thread when done.

Members WynnD
If you have a cabinet plan that is suitable for those exact speakers, you might actually save a small amount of money. If not, your beer money will be hanging out in the cabinet. If you want to do the woodworking for fun, go for it. (Note the bass in my avatar.) Be aware that speakers are very particular about the cabinet specs. Wrong specs will result in poor speaker sound and efficiency. Are you thinking about an open back guitar cab?
