Members colejustesen
I liked the black one for the cleaner settings, but the red/tweed colored one for the dirt.... Would take both if someone gave them to me with no remorse Cole

Members Nerine
On my iPhone speaker I hear little to no difference on the clean. On the drive, the RA seemed to have a little more definition and cut. Seem to be voiced very similarly though. Also, those Haggerty's Music YT comparison vids are really informative. They have AB'd some useful things.
Members civicbud
do you have an opinion yourself or are you just looking for general concensus? Just interested in what people think. I have an RA, getting the ED soon. Personally, I think the RA sounds the best overall, and obviously not just based on the video. I could easily live with just the RA, but seeing both amps together in this video was an eye opener to how similar the amps are in their voicing. I usually tend to not like combining amps because sometimes there can be something weird about switching between amps during a set that aren't tonally similar. I plan on using the ED as a wet amp all the way. The video doesn't capture it, but that amp can get a really nice and chimey Vox AC30 clean tone, with much more low end available than you'd normally find in a Vox. Just thought I'd see what people think of the amp. I've noticed a lot of people still hyping up the ED without fully hearing the RA in comparison. I thought the video, while limited, was eye opening.
