Members Cirrus
Yesterday I used my AC50 for a few hours, all was well when I left it. Today I arrive for practice, turn it on, and it all lights up as you'd expect but there's no sound. After some investigating,I turn the AC50 round, and only the power valve on the right is lit up - the other is dead, no heater glow, nothing. Swapped them round, and the one that's now on the right lights up. so it's the socket, not the valve. Then I notice none of the preamp tubes are glowing either. I guess there's a break in the heater circuit somewhere, but I've no time to fix it for tomorrow's gig. This is also the first time a valve amp has taken a dump on me where it's not just the valves, it's the workmanship. I didn't even move the bloody thing. AAAAARRRGGGHHH.
