Members Zacman0126
How are you flipping a pannekoeken??we must be making them quite differently, mine are baked in a cast iron skillet. I havent tried baked, but possibly because after letting the batter rest for 45 minutes i'm already impatient and want breakfast. I flip the cakes using a combination of the pan and spatula. I loosen the bottom with the spatula and flip it up and over in the air. Sometimes it works, sometimes I end up cleaning the kitchen for 20 minutes and get a bagel from Tim Hortons instead. Any of the ones with Banana in them are the worst for this. I refuse to have it any other way, the ingredients have to be cooked in, not laid on top or wrapped in like a burrito. That's what crepes are for, damnit.
Members almightycrunch
Original pannekoekens, they lay the sausage right onto, or into, however you look at it and then bake em, it pretty much ends up enveloping the sausage as it rises anyways. Which in essence cooks it "inside it" try it in the oven sometime, thats where it gets it rise.
