The laptops are basically dead.....the one I'm typing on is near death. the desktop is basically a dust collecting paper weight. What should I be in the market for? Do tablets replace a desktop or laptop? My needs are browsing, important internet things, and that's about it.I don't play games, don't use it for banking (minus taxes), don't do photoshop (but do photos), don't record on them, so I don't need much...... We have smartphones, but certain things are a pain in the ass to do on them.....and sometimes it's nice to kick back with the laptop....big screen, real keyboard.....
