Show me your Edwards guitars. About to pull the pin on a Goldtop P90.

Edwards don't sound like LP's.

 

 

They are a bit brighter or open sounding, but if you change the electronics you can get "that sound" I think ESP were going for the looks bit with more of an updated sound. All you need it to change the pots and caps.

 

 

But I think they are great guitars. I was frustrated with mine untill I gave it more of a set up I am comfortable with and rubbed down the neck a little for a more worn feel.

 

I played a Gibson and edwards side by side in the store when I got mine and for the price i went with the Edwards. To me les Pauls are now just too over priced. It's not the same, but Edwards are better than Gibson studios

Very cool! Can someone in the know school a noob quick on what the diff is between Burny, Edwards, Tokai, Greco etc?

 

 

I see them on ebay from time to time and they look like good guitars. Is one brand preferable or are they all around the same quality? Talking about the older ones from Japan not the newer Chinese models. Thanks
