Members grunge782
So I decided to get another Snark and I got the SN-8 this time. The accuracy on the SN-8 isn't really any more "precise", but it seems a tad more stable when tuning. The display is also noticeably more bright. So go with the SN-8 if you want a brighter display, a little more stability and a tuner in black . Just don't expect it to be that much more precise of a tuner than the SN-2. Members Ovid9
There are different versions of Snarks? I have one. It seems to do fine for my acoustic and when I'm playing my electrics unplugged. I honestly had NO idea there were multiple versions.
Members Shask
There are like 4-5 different versions I have heard the red one is the best..... but I was messing with a black on in Guitar Center yesterday and the worker guy told me the blue one was better... Members metalhobo
I have a blue one. No idea what model it is. Works pretty good. Better than my AA-powered Korg, that's for sure.

Members grunge782
6x the price and you can barely see the display. Good tuner for accuracy, but for most people it isn't worth it.

I just wanted to post a big picture. I've had pretty good results with non-strobe tuners. I'm not so deaf at this point that I can't do the rest by ear. Members nightflameauto
Those Snarks look really ungainly after using an NS Mini for a few months. I've actually got three NS Minis now. One for each of my regular players. Dead accurate and barely visible from the front, especially if you've got a black headstock.
