Hmmmm.......A head along with my orange 212 could be a pretty tight little set up. If you haz the 212, def get a STOCK SF. Just make sure it's loaded with 8 ohm speakers in parallel. they come alive that way. For this combination, I think the Emi 1258's will get you to clean territory purty damn well. No reverb though. Members Knutsaq Posted July 19, 2012 Members Share Posted July 19, 2012 My favorite Fender amp ever (at least of the ones that I have owned) was a silverface Pro Reverb. Just like a twin, but with half the power (only 2 x 6L6) and a lot more reasonably priced with you can find them. Basically had all the tone of a Twin, but wouldn't rip your head off at volume, although it did get plenty loud to hang in a live setting.
