Members wanderoo222 Posted August 14, 2012 Members Share Posted August 14, 2012 Just played my 22 watt tube amp thru a 2x12 cab I got off craigslist loaded with Splawn small block 25's. These guys rock. Great hard rock speakers. Currently the cab is closed back. I plan on installing an open back/ closed back designed door and listen to the difference. I currently have 2 Nitros and I run them thru either a Splawn 2x12 with sb25s or a Mesa 2x12 with sb25s. I plugged my 6505+ into the Mesa 2x12 a few months ago and was not expecting the Sb25s to sound so great with the 6505+ but I have been gigging it ever since.
