Members Lucius
This one is broken so I was wondering if any NUT will fit on it. I don't need it to lock down but I will install locking nuts if need be. Cheers, Lucius
Members nightflameauto
That whole setup confuses and strangely, kinda arouses me. What the hell is that metal plate the nut bits are sitting on/in? Remains of a locking nut from yesteryear or something?

That little pry bar squeezes those round thingys tightly on the string. The weel the pry bar is dead and I lost one of those little round thingys. I hope that is a good description lol. Cheers, lucius this is better than the time you talked about using Courtney Love's anal leakage as lube.Cheers, nightflameius.
Members Blakkwater
Honestly, ask a very knowledgeable luthier or ask Fender themselves. I've never even seen a nut like that before. What it boils down to is the type of route/footprint it needs, and the difference between that and whatever nut you'd want to replace it with. Members colejustesen
You can get away with using a Schaller Floyd Rose locking nut, that is what I did on mine... Granted you will need to get some sort of spacer to raise them up a bit as the original nut is taller... I used the brass spacers that Stew-Mac sells with good results.
