Members MakuseruSukotto Posted January 15, 2009 Members Share Posted January 15, 2009 I recently bought an Ampeg R50H. (The Reverberocket in a head form.) The R50H has two EL34's as opposed to the normal two 6L6's found in the Reverberocket combos. I usually go for amps with 6L6's in them as opposed to EL34's. So what would I have to do to swap from the EL34's that are in there now to 6L6's? Ive read that on a few amps to switch from 6L6 to EL34 you just have to change a few resistors to different values. Perhaps you could compare the schematics if you can get a hold of them. I have the service schem for the superocket, but I don't think that would help you much.
