Members KevinTJH
Budget would be AU$500-600 for a second hand 4x12 cab. Been looking at the Marshall 1960A 4x12 cab for a while as they're a little more common in the second hand market here than the 1960B, plus I'm a big fan of slant cabs. They can be had second hand within the budget. Are there any other good 4x12 cabs to consider within the same range as the Marshall? Thanks! Members KevinTJH
Also, I noticed that most of these second hand Marshall cabs are at least 10+ years old. Would there be any potential issues purchasing a cab that old?
Members codecontra
The Marshall 1960's are great cabs all around and should pair nicely with your head, but I would try it out to make sure you like the sound. The age should not be a problem, I have owned 1960's from the 80's and 90's with no issue. They are fairly bullet proof. I would personally open it up however to make sure the speakers weren't swapped out and nothing unusual on the inside.
