Members offramp
3. How did you "rust" metal parts? (input jack plate) You can age them by 1) pouring some muriatic acid in a tub bigger than all the parts you want to age2) getting a stick and some wire, and suspending the parts above--but not touching--the muriatic acid3) covering the entire setup with a larger bowl to keep the fumes contained. Leave it there for a week or so.
Members Azazael
I done the glob residue of whatever on the horn yesterday. Will install big brass block and threaded neck inserts next.
Members -=Pennywise=-
I have the brass block in mine, it makes a huge dif I noticed. I have one in my Kramer Focus too. Best thing you can do for the floyd man. I went the fender replica way of getting a rusty jack plate, looks cool. I gotta put some cigarette burns on mine and then I'm calling it done. and god damnit it this guitar heavy, it feels like I'm holding a les paul with the weight of it, the $25K replica felt as light as a fender squire.... Members Azazael
I've already installed the block. Will need to get a new video and recording of this guitar sometime soon.
