Members JackF
My first stringed instrument was a Kay plectrum banjo (1959) only mentioned because I really wanted a guitar but my mother had a friend getting rid of the banjo and money was tight. Strings, strum, what's the difference. I was 12. The guitar was (I believe) a Silvertone definitely from Sears Catalog (nylon string, folk) 1963. Don't know what eventually happened to it. I think a distant relative may have it. By the way I still have a Framus plectrum (1972) - the local music shop sold Framus (see sig) How old am I now - 56 with a Larrivee in the very near future.
