Members Chris Loeffler
I'm not a purist... I play my Martin Acoustic/Electrin through a Fender Deluxe and occassionally like to throw a little grit in the mix (a la Monte Montgomery minus the technical skills). After three years of experimenting with various ODs, Boosts, and Distortions, I have found the best OD if you want to add a little (or a lot) of grit to your acoustic. The Subdecay Liquid Sunshine. It retains the essence of my acoustics sound, feeds back less than any other OD I've tried, and cleans up depending on your attack. If ayone would love to put a little grit on their fat acoustic sounds, check it out. No I'm not an employee, yes I've owned it for more than a couple of weeks, and yes I happily paid full price for it!!! Have a great day, and throw up any other reccomendations you may have. Members talkgtr
a Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive. Very nice, you can blend in a clean sound and it has a tone control. Plus it's true bypass.
Members Terry Allan Hall
I like the original Boss Heavy Metal (HM-2)...a surprisingly musical OD. Make my Guild, plugged into my Kustom KAA-65 sound a lot like a Les Paul through a Marshall...for when you're in a Metal Mood!
