Members fingertwister Posted January 4, 2006 Members Share Posted January 4, 2006 I started by buying anthologies of prewar blues players (there's a ton of cheap stuff out there), deciding who I liked, & followed up with complete albums/CDs by those artists - otherwise it's easy to get overwhelmed with recommendations.. Members Mr. P ~ Posted January 4, 2006 Members Share Posted January 4, 2006 It looks like everybody is giving you the names of the blues legends, but nobody has mentioned any of the ladies!!Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tadeschi are good for Electric Blues, but for Acoustic Blues you need to balance the scale by checking out Rory Block.
