I have two electrics [cheapos] and I needed an acoustic to play around with. Has anyone tried the Alvarez RF20SC? Does anyone have any clue if it's a good deal or not if I can get one for ~$150? I'm in need of a cheap acoustic that sounds decent, and this acoustic/electric seems like a good deal. Any opinions would be appreciated. Members brothertupelo Posted June 13, 2006 Members Share Posted June 13, 2006 i have an alvarez rf20sm. that's mahogany top, back, and sides, (no electronics) and i love the thing. i bought it for about 200 and i have no regrets. the power was out the day i bought it, so i couldn't really see the guitars that well. just picked it out by ear.
