The Gray is the Si verson with BC108C transistors and the Black is a Ge with russian transistors. Got the Ge transistors from AMZ. Very big difference in tone, the Si is fuzzier, much more gain and treble. The Ge is warmer and thicker sounding. By bluesguitar65 at 2012-07-17 Russian Germanium Transistors.
