Members musicdog400
I was curious what it would be like to have those extra treble strings. And my poor cigar box guitar became an unwilling participant.
Members WRGKMC
Pretty cool.I have them built into my electric sitar. Never found much use for them playing. The strings are too close together and they dont buzz like the 6 string does. I'm thinking about modifying thie bridge one of these days so the strings drone. Members musicdog400
How do you like the sitar ? Before I put the bolt (saddle) on, mine were buzzing like a Jawari bridge. I see a lot of harp guitars with a seemingly tight super treble string spacing. I used 1/2 inch which turns out to be plenty. Maybe a little less would work. Tuning on this is so difficult, I am thinking about making a bunch of little sliding saddles I can use as fine tuners. Since there are not frets for these strings, I should be able to get away with that.
