Members TrwrPwr
A local luthier (who has done some work for me already) said he would make and fit a bone nut and compensated saddle for my Seagull S6 for $100. That includes labor and materials. Is that a fair price?
Members daklander
I would say it's reasonable if the job is done well. It does take a set up as well so there's a decent amount of time involved.
Members Freeman Keller
Very reasonable. The guy I use (Bryan Kimsey) lists $80 for a bone and 150 for FWI setup, but that is almost always a part of other work. I will also often see $35 to 50 plus parts - the parts can be another 50 so your person is right in there.
