Members DarkHorseJ27
I found this YouTube video of Tommy Emmanuel, and I want to know how he does that intro. I know he's using harp harmonics, but how does he do that? Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZNJf-h7F8s&feature=related

Members Queequeg
how does he do it?fret with the left hand, touch the index finger of the right 12 frets up from there, and pluck with the thumb of the right.now that's it, mechanically.but making it all sound like that and getting the timing down, that is another whole can of worms.how does he do it?in a word...genius. Members Opa John
I watched John Fogerty doing this on a Gibson LP one time on a PBS special. He was moving like gangbusters and didn't miss a lick...totally blew me away!I had no idea he was that accomplished. And Tommy E. is simply amazing. Not much more you can say about guys like this. Talk to ya later. I have to go throw rocks at my guitar now.
