Members KnewMono
Hi. I rarely visit this forum but I was wondering which strings will sound best with my Gibson SJ-150 (or jumbos in general). This will be my first string change so I'm with stock right now. Thanks

I would keep them the same gauge that the guitar was set up for.

Members Terry Allan Hall
I string all of my jumbos w/ light sets of .012-.053, currently Elixer Polys, myself. Some feel that mediums (.013-.056) will make a jumbo louder...possibly it came from the factory w/ mediums, but I'm not positive about that. Try different sets until you find what works for you.
