Members Hoddy
I really like that guitar, though I doubt they make a lefty version...anyone here know how much or how difficult it would be to convert the bridge to a lefty one?

Members Queequeg
Apparently it is an "0" size (parlor). the nut is 1 & 11/16 inches.Seems a parlor ought to be 1 & 3/4 inches. It is beautiful, though. They evidently have a whole New York series. (this is a 406S, then there is a 317 and a 417...)
Members djuna
Of course you never can tell from the glamour shots, but that looks like it should be more than $400--the back is sweet!
Members totamus
When I was looking for "New Yorker" I considered this model, but the reviews I found were not all positive. I wound up with a Blueridge "New Yorker" model BR 361 and am very happy with it

Members Roy Brooks
That I like. I would like it more if it had a slotted headstock.
Members MattSkibaIsGOD
I fell head over heels when i first saw it. I would love to find one to try. It's got that Ian Anderson vibe that I really dig.

Members cam622
Yes ... I got a Takamine G406S about two weeks ago. It is a OO/Concert body sized guitar that sounds twice it size and the bass response is rather impressive. I changed the D'Addario strings to Cleartones with Tusq pins about a week after I got it. Like all new guitars, it will take a while to break in but thus far it is a rather impressive instrument for the price.
