Members klpa
Yes, I did like the sound and the look. The price is okay. But it would be nice to know more about this guitar. Maybe I would like to sell it in the future. Therefore it would be good to know, if it is some sort of "exotic" Martin, which is hard to sell. There are so many Martin
Members martinipm
Elderly has one for sale for $4200. Has a lot of Texas bling.
Members PieterH
Checked out the page on their website that says "inactive models". I heard about a D-40 the other day which was a new one to me too - it is also discontinued. Still, nothing on a D-38 there either...
Members Queequeg
for the right person, I suppose, but it's not for everybody.
Members klpa
Thank you for your hints. It looks exactly like the D-38 from Elderly, but without the excessive decoration. I now found out, that it must be a custom-shop guitar. It looks like the M-38 but is a Dreadnaught (as the "D" says:-). I probably will go for it. Thank you again. Members panhandler
Well i've learned something here. I like that desert bling. Different. I'd like to see the rest of that pickguard
Members Samilyn
I don't like the desert bling, but that's just me. Very cool to get a custom shop Martie at a price you can live with. I could possibly overlook unwanted bling if a git sounded good enough to me and the price was right.
