Members danxrs05
Hey guys. So here it goes: I fell in love with a guitar...thing is it's 1200$ + taxes. Found out about the Seagull Artist series which are cheaper (I live in Quebec where they are made and are cheaper here). Just want to know what you giys think of them. Good guitar? For the long run?Bang for the buck? I'm trying to stay in the 1000$ range... Anyways. Thanks for you comments.

Members OldGuitarPlayer
I'm also in Canada yet I have not played the Artist series. What model are you looking at? Seagull is a fine guitar and from looking at the website those guitars look beautiful.

Members larry50
Haven't played one, but I think the strong consensus is that you can't go wrong with a Seagull.
Members Tartanlad
Seagull seems fine to me
Members hewits40
Played several Seagulls, it's one of the few lines that never made me itch to move up. As much as I loved my D1 I always wanted a 28. With the Seagulls none of the artists, studios, or mosaics ever outshone my good ol' s6 folk. I just never saw the payoffs to their "uplines." Members guildfire
I wouldn't pay $1,000 for a Seagull. Nothing against Seagulls, but you're up in used Martin territory, Guild GAD, and others.
Members OldGuitarPlayer
Didn't you just buy a Martin D-15? :poke:
