I've got a very nice arrangement of "O Holy Night," but it's too big to post as an attachment. If you're interested, PM me with an E-mail address and I'll send you a copy that way. Here's the tune:

Here's another cool arrangement, though it's definitely not a solo piece. It sounds cool, but without someone singing, it's lacking a melody:

Dale (the guy that's playing in all of these) was kind enough to make a tutorial for "The First Noel," which you can find here.

Mark Hanson, Accent on Music, has a couple of books/cds with songs ranging from very simple to incredibly complex. He has arranged several to be played with flute or other instruments

Each year I work on this one, then put it away for 11 months. Getting closer

Another good sourse is (was) John Fahey. He did some great fingerstyle Christmas songs, often in open tunings. You can find his books at Homespun Tapes.

Ah, yes, you and I big fans of John! Actually there are a lot of tabs for his stuff on his official site: John Fahey.com

I just looked none of his Christmas album :(

OK, sorry. John has a Christmas cd out, and his Mel Bay book has three Chrismas songs - First Noel, Silent Night (in open G, you can actually play it with a slide), and Auld Lang Syne (open C). Also his stuff is available from Stefan Grossman, not Homespun.

One of the best and worst concerts I ever say was Fahey in about 1972 - he sat down with his usual liter of coke, playd for an hour, got up and walked off the stage. The audience didn't know whether to applaud or boo. A very talented, interesting, and troubled person - I've struggled with his songs for 40 years/
