Members Brindleleaf
Hiya all, A friend has asked me to help him choose a jumbo cutaway...(he was angling towards a Takamine, but I figure for that kind of money, there must be a good outside bet (tanglewood, crafter, eastman(! if I can find one in France...), freshman... I had a look around today and enjoyed playing a Guild Gad 30 PCE, and a Breedlove...but I wondered if any of you could recommend anything...!? ANy ideas would be much appreciated.... As a slight digression...while I was assiduously looking for his jumbo..I happened to play my first ever parlour guitar.......I played a tidy little mahogany Tanglewood...which sounded absolutely fantastic...!! When I asked the guy the price, I thought he made a mistake, and insisted on showing him the one I was playing....but no mistake...only 200 euros.....!! (I believe my response was something like "Holy {censored}!!!" (Can anyone remind me why they sound so good...(for that price I imagine that most if not all of the guitar was laminated....)
