Members J.B. Lee
Anyone have some thoughts on this guitar? It appears to me that Brownsville is sold mostly through Sam Ash, although I'm not sure if it's exactly a "store brand" ala Carlo Robelli. Since you guys seem to know what brand comes from which factory I was hoping you could speculate on the quality of this instrument. At $240 it's more expensive than an Oscar Schmidt, but cheaper than every other 335 clone. It looks much more like a Gibson than the Oscar Schmidts and Artcores as well. Members Buck62
I just bought an Aria TA-50. Check out the price!!.... (4th guitar down) http://www.lynch-music.com/electricguitars.htm Here's a bigger, better pics and stats from the Aria website. It's not a "bolt on neck" like the first website says, it's a set neck. They must've made a boo boo. http://www.ariaguitars.com/int/03_products/pro_eg_ta_50.html I'll take an Aria over a Brownsville anytime. As a matter of fact, this is going to be my 2nd Aria! The TA-50 comes in black, wine red, and brown sunburst... which is the one that I'm getting. It's actually a tobacco sunburst, though. They're very nice guitars for the money.
