Members christofilis Posted July 3, 2011 Members Posted July 3, 2011 hey guys maybe you could help me out with this a bit. i wanted to start a music video show on public access but i'm unsure about who i contact to acquire broadcast rights for video. i've heard that some labels want you to pay a small fee for broadcasting and that a lot don't charge anything. anyway, basically any information you guys have would be usefull. thanks
Moderators daddymack Posted July 4, 2011 Moderators Posted July 4, 2011 you need to find a clearing house. Google 'video rights clearance': http://rightspro.com/http://www.greenlightrights.com/us/ if you are on public access, then odds re you won't need to pay, but you may need to sign a waiver stating that the program is not for profit.
