Members u6crash
Who here plays a guitar with no fretboard markers? I really think those guitars can look very nice, but I wonder how hard it is to adapt. I don't think I'm conciously looking at the markers when I'm playing, but I may miss them if they weren't there. Members angus_old
you just have to get used to looking at the side ones
Members markas214
It actually improves your abilty to play the neck by feel rather than sight. The only problem I have is adjusting to the fret positions when switching between neck scales. Practice in a darkened room without looking at the fret markers for a few weeks and you'll get a feel for where you want to be on the neck. Members turnip
It's no big deal. You just get used to checking out the side markers, as the above posters mentioned.
Members Code-001
This is my custom V2 Warmoth guitar with no inlays. It didn't make a difference in my playing at all.
Members Oyaji
I learned on a classical with only one side marker at the twelfth fret. You get used to it.
