Hallelujua- A first

I recently added sound treatment to my space.

Biggest impact came from insatlling a "cloud" absorber just below the ceiling and just above my desk. This really cleaned up many of the reflections that had been going on there.

Usually when i mix it takes a average of 8-10 tries/tweaks (after listening on a few systems/environments) to settle on a mix.

Last night I nailed a mix first time. This included all the little vocal rides, and the challenging bass. I dont think I need to do a take 2 on this.

Hallelujah. Im really impresssed with that.

I had to share it.

How often do you get the mix nailed in 1 take??

Feel free to come out anytime...

Also, any other Rochestarians, maybe we could do a meet and greet out at the studio sometime?

Bring some stuff everyone's done, put 'em up on the monitors and have a listen to see what folks are doing and share some tips/techniques?

Dan'll buy the pizza...
