Members mattIsA_lamma Posted February 11, 2011 Members Posted February 11, 2011 Anyone know a good way to keep track of money and save it as a band? My band has been making between $50 - $100 every show we make and have a couple hundred dollars sitting in our singers savings account. A few days ago he told me that he doesn't want it in there anymore because he is tempted to spend it. Any suggestions? We thought about buying a safe.

Moderators daddymack Posted February 12, 2011 Moderators Posted February 12, 2011 We simply assigned one member of the band as treasurer (yeah, me, of course) and I would issue quarterly statements as to what monies I was holding, what we brought in, what went out and why. When a member left, they received their share of the 'Band Kitty".
Members Kenny Scott Posted February 21, 2011 Members Posted February 21, 2011 we open a bank account with 2 signatory, its a joint account but yeah we have the treasure and every expenses made and other miscellaneous has been recorded.
