Members GAS Man
Maybe they just got a few more into stock. I bought a red one from them for the same price. I'm a novice collector and I consider it to be a cool additon to the family. Very good tone in the neck or neck+bridge positon. Wouldn't want it if I was trying to keep it down to three or so guitars. But the resonant twangy tone is farily unique.

Something like that I guess. But they do manage to produce a resonant tone of sorts. The pickups do what they do. Like I said above the neck and the neck + bridge tones are really nice. Me and others I've seen think the bridge alone is a bit too thin, but probably with some EQ tweaking and some OD, someone could probably find a cool use for that position as well. I don't think you upgrade pups on these things. You just bite on the Dano tone or you pass it by. For $299 waddyawant?
Members RomanS
Check out my thread for a short review/description of the tone:http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1170030&pagenumber=3 - I LOVE the sound I can get from the neck+bridge-combined-position - like playing on 6 sPrings instead of sTrings!
