It's called The Frame. Just when you thought you've seen it all, you find this...

I wana see a closeup of the headstock. Are the strings just tied in knots? They sells these on ebay alot.

 

I thought about taking a broom model steinberger and making a wire frame like that and mounting it to the body of the broomstick so it sits up higher on your leg when your sitting. It looks like an acustic frame.

Here's my SoloEtte. It has nylon strings that are tied in knots and fed through a hole just past the zero fret.

 

The same company makes a similiar model with a Moses graphite neck and EMG's. They've also licensed the design to Aria Pro II for an import model.

 

Does this German one come apart, also?
