I looking for a good book in acoustics any recommendations?

F. Alton Everest has that market cornered. For general theory his Master Handbook of Acoustics is great:

He had another title that I prefered that I think is out of print called something like, "Building a Small Recording Studio". That book reeled me in 15 years ago and never let go. Grab it if you see it.
