Pups were piercing, it was impossible to keep the intonation set given all the slop in the bridge and the crappy tuners, and those stupid slider switches were ridiculus. Yeah, the radius of the fingerboard was 7 1/4", and the bridge radius was closer to 6". But even with intense whammying, you can't put one out of tune. You can push so hard on the bar that the bridge slips off the posts, pry the damn thing back up with a blunt object, and it will still be in tune! Without a lock nut.
