Members newlyformedmind Posted March 11, 2008 Members Share Posted March 11, 2008 First of all, I just want to thank everyone for this amazing site that's full of so much knowledge from all kinds of music/pro audio fans. I've been recording on my own through Protools (original MBOX). For vocals I have the Rode NTK. I never knew if I really liked the mic cause my room was so untreated and the clock, converters, and preamps on the Apogee Mini-Me I just purchased have yet to be tested. I also ordered Real Traps PVB. I read so many great things about Ethan on here and my main focus is vocals so that should help I assume. I record bass direct, either use Fruity Loops for drums cause I don't have the inputs and use the POD XT Pro and Vox Valvetronix through a Schecter Diamond Series semi-hollo body. If some of you wouldn't mind just listening to a clip and critiqueing or giving me advice on the purchases I made. I also ordered a super fast PC so I'd stop getting so many errors. Cheers everyone!
