Members LAracer
Does anyone know what different kinds of 50th aniiversary strats were produced, and what are the specs on them? I know some were MIM, some were MIA, some were "deluxe"; is there a website or anything that lists these kind of things?
Members Blackbelt1
Here is a user review that gets the facts pretty much correct about the 4 models they released. No, I didn't write it. FYI, almost every Fender Strat made in 2004 bores a commemorative neckplate - but that doesn't make it a 50th anniversary model. 3 were tobacco sunburst, and the Mexican one was gold:http://www.epinions.com/content_162703707780 ~Blackbelt

Members jhall
I have one of the 50th anniv. American series Strats and am in LOVE with it. It is a rock solid great sounding and playing guitar. It Gives me everything I could wish for in a Strat. I really LOVE the Custom Shop '54 pickups in it. I don't get the noise problems with them that I've heard others mention. It is just a joy of a guitar.
